GLAMPING WITH FRESH COUNTRY AIR

Viehbrook Farm is a recognised farm animal Ark. Endangered livestock breeds on the farm include Skudden, Moorschnucken, Thuringian Forest goats and Bunte-Bentheimer pigs, Diepholzer geese, Brakel chickens, Sundheimer chickens and German Sparrowhawks. Scottish Highland cattle are kept on the farm for meat. The animals' products are sold in the farm's own restaurant and farm shop. The animals all run on the farm or in the immediate vicinity of the farm and are accessible to visitors.
The game preserve "Rahe Ranch" is located 1.5 km from Viehbrook Farm. There, Christian Rahe built a game gate on 8 hectares directly behind his parents' farm in 2011. Since September 2011, a herd of fallow deer has been running there and in winter 2013, a red deer gate was added to the site, which has been inhabited since February 2014. This agricultural wild animal husbandry serves the production of high-quality regional game meat. The fallow deer and red deer meat from the Rahe Ranch is offered at Viehbrook Farm in the farm restaurant and in the farm shop. A visit to the Rahe Ranch is possible by appointment for groups, school classes and kindergartens as well as for special events.
