Located in the tip of the Natural Reserve of “Costa Vicentina, the most Western Point of Europe, you will fall in love the moment you set foot in our camp. We took the time together with our partners of Salema Ecocamp to design a camp that caters for people with high standards in comfort, design and sustainability. You will feel part of our great international family and find the best set up for your well deserved holidays, surrounded by nature and friends from all over the world, while enjoying the comfort of our glamorous tents tailored specially for you. The easy life is waiting for you!
ACCOMMODATION
THE DOMO
The DOMO is the flagship of our fleet. With 24 square meters of floor space, it can accommodate up to 5 people with maximum comfort, ideal for family bookings. Due to the standing height of 3 m you don't feel you’re in a tent, but more like in a mobile home.
The outer skin of the DOMO is made of 100% cotton and has two large windows. This guarantees a pleasant indoor climate – even at hot temperatures- and invites you to spend the day chiling in it.
INTERIOR
All rooms are decorated with cosy furnishings for your maximum comfort. Every accomodation is equipped with:
- Comfortable single or double beds (80 x 200 cm / 140 x 200 cm) with real mattresses and bed linen (pillows, blankets, covers and sheets)
- Bedside table and fatboy lamp and fan
- Power connection and socket strip (3 x 230V)
- Clothes rack with a cupboard and hangers, as well as a table mirror
- 2 Unique outdoor beanbags
- Fatboy outdoor carpet
- Wooden terrace in front of the tent with seating and benches
- Fully equipped kitchen for inside or outside cooking including refrigerator, induction plate, sink, dishes, etc.
THE ECO LODGE
Embedded in the mountain with an astonishing view over the natural park, our Eco Lodges are very spacious and equipped with all amenities. Enjoy the sounds of nature surrounded by vegetation and bird life. Maximum capacity – 5 persons (it's forbidden to exceed the capacity) Price includes: Free admission for 1 car Bed linen Water and Electricity, private Bathroom and Fully equipped Kitchen
THE APARTMENTS
For those who prefer a classic apartment style for their holidays. We have it all. There are 5 Apartments available, with everything you might need for your best relaxation. Capacity ranges from 3 to 5 persons, plus our amazing Surf Villa for 7 persons. All decorated with nature and surroundings motifs that inspire us to create special environments. Get inspired too and relax!
THE STUDIOS
Following the same idea of our apartments, we also have studios available for you. There are 5 Studios at our camp with everything you might need for your best relaxation. With capacity of 3 persons (double bed + 1 sofa bed). All studios are decorated with nature and surroundings motifs that inspire us to create special environments. Get inspired too and relax!
THE WOODY
The Safari Woody Tents are a novelty at Salema Eco Camp and are already a success! Ideal for a first glamping experience or for campers who need a good bed and all the basic comfort. With a max. capacity of 2 person, they are located in an exclusive area that can only be used by the Glamping guests just next to their own communal kitchen and sanitation
THE TIPI
Our Tipi tents delight the little ones. Giving wings to the imagination, the little adventurers create the most fun stories! With capacity ranging from 2 to 4 persons, they are also located in an exclusive area that can only be used by the Glamping guests just next to their own communal kitchen and sanitation.
THE MOBILE HOME
Located in a quiet and privileged area of the Salema Eco Camp we have 2 types of mobile homes from 5 to 7 persons. Here you will find all amenities you need for your vacation. A fully equipped kitchen and it's private bathroom. All mobile homes have a nice front terrace where you can relax with your best friend and family.
THE CAMP
OUR CAMP
In addition to your completely furnished and decorated accommodation, we offer you access to the sanitary facilities and a camp store where you can buy snacks and drinks. For the accommodations that don't have a kitchen there are multiple communal kitchens and barbecue areas. Electricity and free wifi are also available. One free parking spot is also included by booking an accommodation. There is a bar and restaurant where you can enjoy our Portuguese kitchen. The camp it's 2 km from the beach so don't forget to bring your swim shorts.
ECOSTORE
We have an Eco Store opened all year where you will be able to buy food, cosmetics and cleaning products carefully selected to be eco-sustainable and organic. Here you can also find basic accessories for campers and surfers, vegetables, fruit on themes and verities of local beauty craft.
ACTIVITIES
The way you spend your leisure time is up to you, but of course we still have some ideas. From Surf lessons to horse riding, exploring the caves by kayak, SUP, yoga, mountain bike tours, horse riding, dolphin watching and many others. We can link you with all our trusted partners so you can have the most fun.
FOOD
It is with immense pride and with a full heart that we present to you the NAZARI restaurant, located at our camp. Inspired by Mediterranean cuisine, one of the healthiest in the world in exquisite flavors and unparalleled aromas, we will present you with surprising dishes that must be shared in a relaxed and safe environment, among friends and family.
SANITATION
Of course we offer you a vacation in compliance with corona guidelines. We have 4 sanitary facilities blocks with singular cells that are cleaned and disinfected according to regulations. This also applies to all community areas. Furthermore we need your support. Keep a distance from others and wear a mask where it is required. This way we can all get home healthy and well from our vacation.
SURROUNDINGS
The South of Portugal it's our little paradise on earth. The beaches are highly popular amongst surfers and are some of the finest in all Europe. We are in the middle of a natural park, where the preserved nature has a strong wild character, creating landscapes of breathtaking majesty. You will definitely not get bored with all the activities you can engage on, from Surf to Kite Surfing, Mountain bike, exploring the caves by kayak, dolphin watching, horse riding, you name it. On the other end, if sports are not your thing, there are numerous beaches where you can relax and work on your tan. The Algarve is also a fantastic food destination, we are shure that Portuguese food will be one of the many reasons that will make your stay memorable.
WHEN CAN YOU GIVE YOURSELF A TIME-OUT?
Glamping on the beach? We are open all year round.
Our glamping tents can be booked from the end of March until the end of October.
