WHY YOU SHOULD GO
Year after year, the North Sea island of Sylt offers a large number of visitors the opportunity for a beach holiday directly off the coast of Schleswig-Holstein.
The island has a lot to offer: On its western side, the waves of the North Sea crash against a 40km-long sandy beach, while in the east the Wadden Sea stretches out with its multitude of inhabitants.
Large parts of the island are nature reserves and invite you to explore nature on foot or by bike. There are many places to learn about the island, its inhabitants and the surrounding sea.
The waves are very popular with windsurfers and Sylt also offers a wide range of sporting and other activities.

ACCOMMODATION
THE DOMO
The DOMO is the palace among the glamping tents with a proud 24m² floor area. It is the ideal option for families and groups and can accommodate 2 to 4 people with maximum comfort. All our DOMO tents have their own terrace with table and chairs for you to enjoy your meals by the sun.
THE ASGARD
The ASGARD is the little brother of the DOMO. It is the ideal option for two people and the perfect accommodation for you and another favourite person of your choice. The 12.6m² and a headroom of over 2 metres offer enough space for our cosy equipment.
INTERIOR
All our accomodations are decorated with cosy furnishings for your maximum comfort. Every accomodation is equipped with:
- Comfortable single or double beds (80 x 200 cm / 140 x 200 cm) with real mattresses and bed linen (pillows, blankets, covers and sheets)
- Bedside table and fatboy lamp and fan
- Power connection and socket strip (3 x 230V)
- Cloththing rack with a cupboard and hangers, as well as a table mirror
- Original Fatboy Outdoor beanbag
- Outdoor carpet
- Wooden terrace in front of the tent with seating and benches
- Fan and cooling box
- Each DOMO includes a fully equipped kitchen in the tent - for the Asgards there will be rental equipment.
THE CAMP
In addition to your fully equipped tent, we offer you access to the modern sanitary facilities of the Mühlenhof campsite. Electricity and free Wi-Fi are also available. There is a bread delivery service and a super market in the immediate vicinity. The real beauty of the campsite is its surroundings: discover the nature that awaits you on Sylt. Look forward to unspoilt landscapes and picturesque beaches as far as the eye can see.
RESTAURANTS
There are several restaurants and cafés within walking distance.
The nearest grocery shop is also not far away.
The island offers culinary diversity, but due to its location, of course, also freshly caught seafood.
ACTIVITIES
From windsurfing and kitesurfing lessons to cycling tours and shopping trips, Sylt offers something for everyone. Whether in camp with your fellow holidaymakers or alone on an exploration tour - there is always something to experience.
CATERING
With the kitchens in the DOMO, you can be self-sufficient and have the best view of your terraces. Here you will find a hob, sink and basic kitchen utensils.
You can also order bread rolls from the campsite and have them delivered. You can also borrow a small barbecue grill from the campsite.
SANITATION
The sanitary facilities, renewed in 2015, are ultra-modern, offer a high level of comfort and can rightly be described as a wellness area. Due to the individual cabins, everything here complies with the Corona guidelines without any problems.

During High Season we only accept min 7 nights stays (weekly reservations) in all our Glamping tents. In Low season there is a minimum booking of 2 nights. We kindly ask for you attention that Check-in is only available from 3pm until 6pm, if you cannot arrive in this timeframe we offer a late Check in option with a charge of 20€ (this will be charged on arrival). There is also a 3,90€ tourism tax that every guest has to pay on arrival (check in). THE SOURROUNDINGS
Sylt is the north-easternmost island of Schleswig-Holstein and lies directly at the Danish border. It lies on the Wadden Sea and is home to Europe's first whale sanctuary. The word "Watt" is Frisian and means "mudflats". The area is typical of extensive mudflats and the islands they contain, a region that is constantly contested by land and sea. When you go "mudflat walking", you can get a close-up look at everything. But please be careful! When the tide rises, priles form that can cut you off from the mainland. If you are lucky, you can watch the "sea glow" at night under the right conditions.
There is also a lot to discover inland! Two different types of heath, shifting sand dunes, forests and meadows, as well as 40 km of sandy beaches invite you to explore the island extensively.
DIRECTIONS
The island of Sylt is the northernmost German island in the North Sea. It is easily reached by train or ferry from "Rømø" (Denmark). There are hourly transfers from both points. You can book your ferry trip here or check the train timetables here.
